Where the illustrations began…
Rose has been obsessed with drawing from a young age. If there were a packet of colouring pencils in a house she'd find them in a second. Growing up with both parents as artists the encouragement to express herself creatively was endless. They both have played a huge part in inspiring her and helping her to get to where she is today. Having gained a degree in the arts from the University of Exeter she went on to do a course in Illustration at the Chelsea College of Arts.
This led her to publish her first children’s book, Patch Potato, and from bringing these characters to life she completely fell in love with caricature illustration. She strongly believes in people celebrating their individuality and what better way than to turn yourself into your foodie alter ego? Rose hand illustrates each and every character with huge amounts of care and love. She hopes that they make everyone smile and give as much happiness as they give her to create.
